SOUTHFIELD, Mich. — At most colleges, high schools, universities, and schools altogether marijuana is very much an extracurricular subject of interest. However, Med Grow Cannabis College is a college where marijuana is the primary curriculum which includes: the history of it, the horticulture and the legal DO’s & DON’T’s of Michigan’s new medical marijuana program approved this past November making it the 13th US state to legalize marijuana. Mr. Tennant saw this as the opportunity of a lifetime!
“This state needs jobs, and we think medical marijuana can stimulate the state economy with hundreds of jobs and millions of dollars,” said Nick Tennant, the 24-year-old founder of the college, a BUDding business that operates in a few small rooms.
